I've had the same layout on my blog since 2012 & don't plan to change it anytime soon - I see blogs changing designs & though they look absolutely gorgeous, I just don't see that happening again for me & my blog. I always consider my review books from publishers first, but when it comes to reading what I want - anything goes!ĥ. This makes sticking to a reading schedule virtually impossible. I have always been, and will forever be, a mood reader. Or join reading challenges to read specific books according to xyz. I've never followed a reading schedule - I know a lot of bloggers plan ahead with their to-be-read piles for the month. I've always wanted to be blurbed for a book, so when Bloomsbury approached me to read a super early copy for feedback, I was beyond flattered and extremely excited.Ĥ. I was blurbed for the ARC of When We Collided by Emery Lord - This has been a dream come true for me as a blogger. But then I discovered contemporary romances and have never looked back since.ģ.

I used to read paranormal YA, & that was it - Remember Twilight and every vampire/werewolf/super-powering-being paranormal romance that came after? Yeah, they cluttered my shelves. If someone had told me that it would open doors for my career in teaching, or cultivate some of the very best friendships of my life, I wouldn't have believed it. I just knew I liked to read books and wanted to share my thoughts on those books with likeminded people. I established this blog in September of 2010 - Yup, it will be six years coming very soon! I had no idea what this blog would come to mean for me and my future. perfect for fans of Stephanie Perkins and Rainbow Rowell.1. "A love letter-brimming with heart, soul, and wit-to everyone who's ever felt left behind. perfect for fans of Stephanie Perkins and Rainbow Rowell." -Jeff Zentner, author of The Serpent King Stepping out of her comfort zone never felt so scary-or necessary. And when it turns out that Skylar’s best friend is the one responsible for having her booted from Lincoln? It’s an all-out war.

Worse is that Skylar wasn’t exactly truthful about how she spent summer break in Los Angeles-and her little white lie is causing her once rock-solid romance to crumble fast.

Living with a group of strangers everyone thinks is lame is bad enough. To her dismay, Skylar’s not going to rule senior year because she’s stuck in Abbot House, a tiny dorm known for, well, nothing. Skylar Hoffman’s senior year at her preppy East Coast boarding school should have been perfect:īut it’s far from it. A girl returns to her exclusive east coast boarding school and finds that she's no longer one of the cool kids on campus in this second novel from the author of For the Record.
